Accessibility

Accessibility statement.

This site is built to be usable by as many people as possible. Here is where that stands.

Last reviewed July 18, 2026

Our commitment

This site is built to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who navigate by keyboard, use a screen reader, enlarge text, or prefer reduced motion. The target standard is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

What is in place

  • A skip-to-content link as the first item in the tab order on every page.
  • Descriptive alternative text on every meaningful image.
  • One clear page heading per page and a logical heading structure.
  • Form fields with visible, programmatically associated labels.
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators on every interactive element.
  • Body text and interface colors checked against contrast minimums.
  • Reduced-motion support: animation and transitions are disabled when your device requests it.
  • No autoplaying audio or video anywhere on the site.
  • Layout that reflows to small screens and tolerates text enlargement.

Known limitations

Content hosted by third parties, including the Substack newsletter archive, the booking portal, and embedded press or video players, is outside our direct control and may not fully conform. Where a third-party tool creates a barrier, contact us and the information will be provided in another format.

Trauma-informed design choices

Given the subject matter of this practice, the site avoids autoplaying media, sudden or large-scale motion, and abrupt interruptions. If any part of the experience feels jarring, please tell us. That feedback is treated as an accessibility issue.

Tell us about a barrier

If you have trouble using any part of this site, or need information in a different format, email info@drbrooklynchick.com or call (702) 232-8077. Please describe the page and what happened. We aim to respond within five business days and will provide the content another way while a fix is made.
